When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor, Stripe.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use Gumix, including:

  • Features you use and actions you take
  • Device information (operating system, app version)
  • Error logs and performance data

AI-Generated Content

Images you generate using Gumix are processed through Google's Gemini API. We do not store your generated images on our servers. Images are processed locally on your device after generation.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Gumix service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send you important updates about your account
  • Improve our products and services
  • Respond to your requests and support inquiries

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Companies that help us operate (Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication)
  • AI Providers: Google Gemini processes your text prompts to generate images
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

4. Your API Key (BYOK)

If you use the free tier with your own Gemini API key:

  • Your API key is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage
  • We never transmit or store your API key on our servers
  • API requests go directly from your device to Google's servers

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encrypted local storage for sensitive data
  • Secure authentication through Supabase
  • Regular security audits

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the Settings page in your dashboard.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications

8. Children's Privacy

Gumix is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
